it is finally time to venture off for a nice long ride with meredith..... off to grandma and grandpa's house on lake huron! wow did we have some fun times with grandma and grandpa! meredith did really well and enjoyed all her new surroundings.

we did some family visiting at grandma and grandpa's. it was a perfect opportunity for meredith to play dress up in her cow outfit. someday we will tell meredith about how grandpa grew up on a farm and how he milked cows.

this is the moment that i have been soooo looking forward to and although i had to do it in my bathing suit...... i'm still sharring! that is because meredith is just so cute and we all were so pleased that our little fish didn't show one bit of fuss over her new experience! grandma and grandpa's pool was just a tad cool but meredith thought it was fun to dress in her pink bikini and 'splash, splash.' she is looking forward to going swimming in lake huron now...... what a fishy!

it was nice to do some hangin out with some great aunts today! these are two of mommy's aunts and they had fun going to my first restaurant today tooo.... for thai food!

it was so fun to see daddy and meredith play out in our pasture! we went on a nice walk afterwards. it is adorable seeing daddy wear meredith....... and he will even wear her pink wrap. meredith knows that her daddy is the greatest!

our little meredith was cute-as-could-be with her festive holiday outfit on the fourth of july! she had her eyes wide open for all of our eatin' and partyin'!! uncle mike says she has changed since he has seen her last..... meredith is developing more character. little meredith is more smiley and seems rather social with her coo's and slobbery grins :) you can see from the pictures how she likes to stand to play.

yes, meredith was interested in the fresh fruit...... hmmm wonder where the watermelon was when she was on the table? she wants to get her little hands on anything that she can reach. then she immediately offers her mouth the tasty suprise! she was so quick with the fruit, she must have known that mommy and daddy say she needs to wait before she can REALLY eat any. awwwwww mom and dad!

out of all these cuties, meredith is the one with her hands in her mouth, red white and blue flower dress and spiked hair!

we are lucky enough to belong to a mommy and baby group that was organized by the hospital. this is truly a gem of an idea! we have just a few babies in this photo, but there are about 10 of us in the actual group and our babies are all within one month of each other. right now our group leader is in charge of arranging classes for us to take as a group and so far they have been really informative........ but we all know that just getting together every week to share our own tips is also now a necessity!

now meredith is not the best 'traveller' yet but we ventured off to cousin jake's house and she had a blast! meredith likes to hoot and holler from her carseat like a professional...... hmmmmm like a professional baby! we have been sugar-coating our travels with some pearl jam music and some bottle feeding to get her in the groove. it is not a fail-safe plan yet, but she is still teaching us and she is just learning that falling asleep in the carseat is a cool thing to do too.

once at cousin jake's house we feasted and played! it was fun to see jake, grandma, grandpa, aunt kerry, uncle joel and kitties. meredith got to do some rolling around and learned about building awesome train tracks with the guys. it was even fun to take a nice long walk to one of jake's fav places for sure....... the playground!

wow! ever since i wore my pink cowboy boots, grandma and grandpa have been saying that i needed a pony too.... and now magically i have a pony! poof! thank you grandma and grandpa for spoiling me! i know, i know what you are thinking. i am too young for a pony...... but if you can tell anything from these pictures you can see that i have been dreaming of this little pony and we both just get along fantastic! maybe i can ride the pony when i get older???

i am 7 weeks old and grandma and grandpa shooks are spoiling me with another easter celebration! i got some nice treats like this cute bonnet. grandma is so excited too so here are some pics of us living it up! i think that they missed me when they were gone for a few weeks in texas......
